Details: I LOVE THIS CAR! I really dont want to sell it but it has come down to where I have no choice. It needs some TLC and I dont have the money or the time to fix it up. Motor needs some work and interior needs a little work itself. The car does start up and run but i would not recommend driving it. I parked it when i heard the timing chain making a little noise. We replaced the tentioner but that didnt fix it. BMW mechanic told me it may be the guides have gone bad. It does have a pretty good bit of miles on it so i would say best bet would be to either replace the motor or rebuild. It is a 5 speed with 211247 miles on the odometer. It runs great but the first shift is a little hard but its not that noticeable. Its a daily driver and runs great. Also the srs light just came on about 2 weeks ago. Its my wifes car and she drives it to TVA 80 miles round trip everyday. It runs great and smooth. Retail is around $7100 so I figured about $5500. Its had 2 owners and clean carfax. It could use a new grill and turnsignal light. It needs an owner who can give her some TLC. It leaks oil from the gaskets and needs new break pads (rotors are still ok). I have changed the oil regularly, put new spark plugs and wires in, and a new master control switch for the power windows. Has summer tires, excellent 4wd, automatic transmission, heater works. Emissions are good for a while yet. Power locks. Starts up on even the coldest day with no problem. Auto start, but I don't have the control. Clean title. $1700 obo.
